Step 2: SCAF Submittal

STEP 2:  To submit your application to the Stanwood-Camano Area Foundation, send

• a SINGLE COPY of your completed STANDARD APPLICATION FORM (from Step 1 - don’t forget your Transcript and, if you have one, your Reference Letter),
• your completed SCAF SCHOLARSHIP LIST (see explanation below) and
• any additional supplemental forms, to:

ALTERNATE METHOD:You may drop your SCAF application off at the SCAF office located at #10 8820 Viking Way in Stanwood (next door to the Uff Da Shop in Viking Village). Hours are 10:00 am to 3:00 pm Tues, Wed and Thurs.Please don’t mail forms to the SCAF street address as they will NOT reach us!

All applications must be postmarked/delivered on or before March 12, 2010.

SCAF SCHOLARSHIP LIST: Many scholarships administered by the Stanwood-Camano Area Foundation (SCAF) require that you meet some simple eligibility requirements in order to be considered.  Completion of the SCAF SCHOLARSHIP LIST ensures that you will be considered for as many of these scholarships as possible.

SUPPLEMENTAL FORMS: Certain SCAF scholarships require additional information which may be entered on a SUPPLEMENTAL FORM. These forms are linked in the SCAF SCHOLARSHIP LIST. Submit these forms together with your SCAF application packet.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT FORMS: 

• The Standard Application Form and the Supplemental Forms CAN be saved to your hard drive.
• The SCAF Scholarship List and the Community Scholarship List CANNOT be saved to your hard drive (due to software limitations).
