The Bruce Kollmar Music Scholarship was established by his family and friends to honor the much-loved former Stanwood High School Band Director. This scholarship is open to any local High School Junior or Senior studying music in our community.

The Jon L. Metzger Music Scholarship was created by Jon's Family and Friends to celebrate his joy of music. An avid musician for all of his life, Jon built guitars, ran a musical instrument repair shop, and co-founded a national Wind Chime Company. Jon's scholarship is available for any middle schooler taking music in our community.

The Laurie Z. Music Scholarship, created by her friends, is open to girls at Stanwood or Port Susan Middle Schools. Laurie Z. ® was an acclaimed keyboardist, composer, arranger, and producer from Camano Island whose music was about moving people to dance, to feel, to rejoice, and to laugh. Laurie’s music is played by major Satellite radio networks and has been heard over the airwaves on hundreds of radio stations.
